Bryan-College Station was selected as the site for the 2006 Southern Living Idea House to be featured in their August issue and open to the public for touring for several months. They are expecting over 60,000 visitors during this time. Kent Moore Cabinets, Ltd. was chosen as the cabinet provider and here is a photo from the kitchen. The house turned out really nice and I'm very proud of our team!!

The more my parents get settled in to their new home at the ranch, the more I'm seeing my childhood fantasies come to life. Yesterday my parents' new playground arrived for installation. It's called the King Kong Clubhouse Big Enchilada and could bring a smile to any 5 year old's face. Oh, to be 20 years younger!! I can't wait until we have little ones and we can enjoy many adventures together at the ranch.

Three years ago, I wouldn't have come within 5 feet of a crawfish, much less eaten one. But Kenny's cajun roots and cooking skills have won me over and I always look forward to his crawfish boils. Here are a few photos from our feast yesterday evening as we celebrated Father's Day with my dad.

I think Kenny had one of the best evenings of his life yesterday, at least that's what the excitement in his voice portrayed when he tells how he caught a boat load of crappie, the best fresh water fish for eating that there is. He probably caught over 80 in a short period of time but he only kept about 40 of the biggest. I guess we're in for a fish fry soon!
