Horse Back Riding

Today the boys got to participate in horseback riding therapy. I wasn't sure if we were going to be able to get the boys onto the horses, especially Andrew, because they get a little fearful at times. Amazingly they let themselves be placed on the horses and although they looked a little unsure at first, they quickly relaxed and enjoyed themselves. They were waving to us and smiling, it was too cute. First they rode forward facing, then sideways, and then backwards to work all the different muscle groups. I think I was the most nervous of all, Andrew's horse was going pretty fast, he kept lapping Adam's. Here are some pictures of my little cowboys ;-) :

Look at that smile!!

Does he take after his father?

These pictures aren't even taken at the same age as Adam is now losing some of his baby chub. But WOW do I see his father in him. My dad likes to say that "Adam looks more like Kenny than Kenny looks like Kenny". Does anyone see any of me in there because I sure don't ;-).

I sure Love those Big Blue Eyes!!

Up . . . . Bubble . . . Pop!

The boys' speech is really coming along lately. It's fun to decipher the words that are beginning to emerge. Their twice weekly speech therapy sessions seem to be making a difference too. For instance last week Adam started saying "up" when he wants to get into a chair or be picked up. And today the boys were so excited when they brought out the bubbles and for the first time Andrew clearly said "Bubble" and later "Pop"! I got out the bubbles at home tonight and he again said "bubble" several times. They are just growing up way too fast but it sure is fun to see them learn new things each day.

"Adam where is your shoe?"

Time for Speech Therapy

And finally: Do you know what this is a picture of??

This is a picture of my view of Andrew walking to me! His smile of pure joy truly is the sweetest gift he can give me right before he leaps into my arms. Oh how I am blessed!
