Kids sure have a different tolerance for water temperature than us adults. I could barely put my toes in but Adam & Andrew splashed and played as if the chilly water was downright pleasant. But don't worry, I was close by in my shorts and barefeet ready and willing to dive in and fish them out if they stepped off the ledge into deeper water. I need to get the boys scheduled for their water survival refresher course here pretty soon as we will probably be spending more and more time in the water.

I'm so mad at myself, we went to the splashpad for the first time this season and I forgot my camera. Adam had a blast running through the water sprayers and fountains, and jumping in the puddles. He would throw his arms up and scream with glee. It was too funny. No surprise that Andrew wouldn't get anywhere near the water. He LOVES the pool and the bath but he does not do spraying water. I'm not sure if it's the noise but he hates it.
Towards the end, it started getting windy and sprinkling and the kids were shivering. When we finally dragged Adam out of there he was practically purple and his teeth were chattering. It was starting to rain and we had a long walk to get to our car so we threw all the kids into my friend Rebecca's stroller and made a run for it. It stopped raining about when we got back to the cars. Andrew now thinks the basket is where he should always get to ride!

We had fun visiting the Children's Museum this week with our friends Lauren & Blake. The kids had a lot of fun getting in to things, banging on the drums, driving the cars and climbing in the rocket ship. It was exhausting for us moms but it was good time for the kids to explore freely and wear themselves out.
