Then it was time to get their height measured. They've both grown a lot (around 3.25"!!), and stayed in nearly exact proportion to each other with Adam having about 3/4" on Andrew (although to my eyes it looks like more than that in person, it must have something to do with the way Andrew stands/hunches).
The boys were excited to wear their special custom birthday shirts to school:
Andrew's Sensory Issues keep him from enjoying a lot of things there like riding the carousel, this make me sad for him:
But he LOVES to go there and run around and watch what everyone else is doing.
Adam had a blast on all the rides
The boys were exhausted from all their fun and pumped up on sugar and junk, not the best combination but I wanted to make their birthday extra special since as twins they have to share their birthday.
After a quick nap we ate dinner at our friends house where we celebrated with the boys' friend Mason who turned three the day before, lots of fun! I unfortunately left my camera at home =-(.
This coming Saturday the boys are having a little party where they attend gymnastics class. In the past we have invited lots of our friends and had big celebrations but this year we are scaling it back and just having a kids party for their same age close friends. Since we are not having it at home or my parents' it will be less stress for our family since we won't have to set up and clean up. All we have to do is show up with the awesome cake that Granny made! Adam & Andrew are so excited. The theme is Buzz Lightyear (or Light-Hair as Andrew calls him ;-) and the kids are all coming dressed as super heroes.
I'll post pictures when I get a chance!
