Third Birthday Recap

Adam & Andrew had a very special third birthday. We started our celebration the night before by sampling the cupcakes they were taking to school for their class party.

Blue Icing!

Then we of course had to pose with our pink sharpie highlighter:

Then it was time to get their height measured. They've both grown a lot (around 3.25"!!), and stayed in nearly exact proportion to each other with Adam having about 3/4" on Andrew (although to my eyes it looks like more than that in person, it must have something to do with the way Andrew stands/hunches).

Then the boys enjoyed a special breakfast of chocolate donuts, yummy!

The boys were excited to wear their special custom birthday shirts to school:

After school we surprised the boys by going to Chuck E Cheese's with Granny, Aunt Dana, Ben, Aunt Rachel, Lauren, Luke & Kate

Andrew's Sensory Issues keep him from enjoying a lot of things there like riding the carousel, this make me sad for him:

But he LOVES to go there and run around and watch what everyone else is doing.

Adam had a blast on all the rides

Playing Air Hockey for the first time was a BIG hit!

After Chuck E Cheese, Dana treated the boys to Snickerdoodles from Great American Cookie Co, YUM!!

The boys were exhausted from all their fun and pumped up on sugar and junk, not the best combination but I wanted to make their birthday extra special since as twins they have to share their birthday.

After a quick nap we ate dinner at our friends house where we celebrated with the boys' friend Mason who turned three the day before, lots of fun! I unfortunately left my camera at home =-(.

This coming Saturday the boys are having a little party where they attend gymnastics class. In the past we have invited lots of our friends and had big celebrations but this year we are scaling it back and just having a kids party for their same age close friends. Since we are not having it at home or my parents' it will be less stress for our family since we won't have to set up and clean up. All we have to do is show up with the awesome cake that Granny made! Adam & Andrew are so excited. The theme is Buzz Lightyear (or Light-Hair as Andrew calls him ;-) and the kids are all coming dressed as super heroes.

I'll post pictures when I get a chance!

Where were they eating the donuts? Looks like the bathroom?!
You know even "normal" kids don't always all like the same thing. Carousels make some people sick! I don't think Andrew felt that he was missing anything. Am sure he had just as much fun with Adam, just doing different things!
Am here praying!

Know that you're always in my thoughts and prayers!
Ephesians 2:8-9: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Praying in Seattle!
Psalm 63:1-3: O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

Continuing to pray!
Psalm 63:4-7 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches. Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
