Gondola + Tubing = FUN

We got brave again and ventured out into the elements with the kiddos, taking them up the gondola in Vail to Adventure Ridge for some tubing. It was super cold and snowing like crazy up there but we had a blast!

The kids always love to ride in the gondola!

Adam enjoyed sitting on the snowmobile

Check out that snow! We're waiting for the snowcat to come take us to the tubing hill

Adam riding the tubing lift up the hill

No matter how old you are you have to ride in your own tube, this was pretty scary for Andrew especially during the ride up, but he hung in there

That's Daddy at the top and Andrew behind him

That blur is us flying by!

Andrew was done after two trips so then we took Adam up to the big tubing hill.

It's hard to tell in this picture but he LOVED the tubing and was so excited about the big hill.
"Let's do this!" He said ;-)

After we finished tubing we hung around Vail Village waiting for our table at Blue Moose Pizza

Not sure what was in that pizza but the boys were especially silly on the way home

Once we were home we had cake to celebrate Granny's birthday!

Another fun day in the mountains!!

You couldn't pay me enough to go in a gondola! Not likin' the whole height thing...
Praying right now!

Oh gosh, this looks like a seriously good time! You are so miles apart from us - we are hot and humid and spending time in the pool.

The Lord understands everything you go through! Praying!
Isaiah 53:1-3: Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Continuing to lift up prayers!
Matthew 11:28-30: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

What a blessing and comfort to have eyewitness testimony of Christ's life. Praying!
I John 1:1-4: That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full

Thanks for the sweet comment. I just compared the two BOB's and I can't see a difference between them at all...so, I am pretty sure I will go wiyh the stroller strides! Thanks for pointing that out. I was really bummed about not getting another BOB b/c it is the BEST stroller I have ever had (and it is number 6!!!). I love the pics of the boys! I would love to be able to take Ellie on a cold weather vacation...she LOVED the snow that we had here. :)

Blessings,
A

Christ went through all this for us, that we might have hope! Praying!
Isaiah 53:7-10: He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
