Night Cats

A while back went hung out one night with some of our friends and the boys got to roast some marshmallows, yum!

The boys had a blast playing among some empty boxes

But the best part for the boys was tormenting, I mean playing with a pair of little black kittens

Andrew was smitten, and fortunately the kitties were pretty good sports

We aren't really "cat people" so it was funny seeing Andrew so taken with the kittens

Rainy Day Fun

We had a big houseful of kids (13: 4 sets of twins and 5 singletons!) out to the ranch for one last summer swim but the weather had something else in mind. Not ten minutes after everyone was in the pool did a big rainstorm roll in. Although the swim was short lived the kids sure didn't let it rain on their parade.

I don't have any photos of my best "mean stepsister face" as my parent's referred to the faces I used to make when I was displeased, that very same face that Andrew likes to make a lot these days. The good news is that I'm not nearly as disagreeable anymore (most of the time anyway ;-), so there is hope!

After having it packed away for a long time we recently pulled the Bouncy House back out and it's been a huge hit, I love how at this age things are totally new again once they've been out of sight for a while.

It's especially fun when Daddy gets in on the action!
