Random November Pics

The weekend the Aggies played at Baylor I got to go out of town for a quick girls trip. The boys got to enjoy some Daddy time while I went with my mom, sis, Aunt & cousin on a road trip to Oklahoma. We spent one night at the Winstar Casino and the next night at Choctaw Casino. Both were nice and a lot of fun, but Choctaw was superb. Not quite Vegas but for the $$ and the quick drive from Dallas it was a really fun place to go.

The next weekend was the big Nebraska game. It was a defensive battle and kept us on the edge of our seats. But in the end we pulled it off and had much to celebrate. It's wonderful to see this current student body finally have something to celebrate at Kyle Field.

Definitely a special night for the 12th Man!

Gobble Gobble

Thanksgiving 2010 has come and gone already. We had a fun day with some very delicious food. (watching the Aggies beat t.u. was pretty great too!) I hope everyone enjoyed making special memories with their loved ones.

I can hardly believe how big my boys are now!

This outtake cracks me up!

I love their Pixie Stitch turkey shirts, so cute!

Adam has really gotten interested in cooking lately and he is always ready to help in the kitchen! He really enjoyed getting to help Aunt Amy with a delicious apple pie!

I love this picture, SO sweet!

Andrew has really gotten attached to Kelsey, and she tolerates him much better than I ever expected ;-)

Andrew is very in to dressing up right now, thus the Spiderman costume

Two of my sweet babies!

Andrew snuggling with Daddy

I really love this picture, Andrew looks so young and sweet, reminds me of his baby days. I miss those days so much!

Since our fridge is not magnetic I hung up all the boys favorite fall artwork around the dining room for our Thanksgiving decorations.

This one turned out really good of Peepaw and Andrew

Very cool!

Drama in the Sweat Shop

Last week my sister and I were working on Pixie Stitch orders when I heard a funny noise and the machine stop. Dana was sitting there looking at her hand and says "What?". Then I realized what she was looking at, a needle was going straight through her finger and out the other side. She didn't scream or anything and was totally calm the entire time. Go check out her blog for some pictures. Never a dull moment around here!

Go Adam!

I'm thinking we might just skip training wheels all together. Pretty impressive balance for a three year old. Hard to believe he was ever a 2 pound preemie!!

Trick or Treat!

On Halloween we went trick or treating with all the cousins. We had Officer Luke, Giraffe Andrew, Minnie Mouse Kate, Fire Chief Ben, Peacock Lauren, and Giraffe Adam. What a cute bunch!

And Granny Clown!

The kids were eager to go to the first house

The lady at this house answered with a scary mask on and Andrew turned sharply and high tailed it out of there, nearly flying off the end of the porch. Poor baby would barely go to the next house he was so terrified.

After so many houses my little giraffes were getting tired, they could barely carry their heavy candy buckets any further.

Yum!

What a fun night!

Adam & Drew take the Big Easy

Recently we loaded up our car and drove to New Orleans with Gammy & Peepaw to visit family there. Our car was packed full. The boys did well in the car and watched lots of movies with their wireless headphones.

This year we stayed on Bourbon Street at the historic Royal Sonesta.

Enjoying some cookies once we made it to New Orleans. The boys got to ride in a taxi with no car seats, which was quite the adventure for them. Then we ate dinner at Drago's and the boys tried charbroiled oysters. Adam really liked them.

Aunt Amy & Uncle Steve flew in to join us late that night. The next morning we went to Cafe DuMonde for breakfast. The boys had been requesting beignets after watching the Princess & the Frog so they were very excited to finally try them.

We got some jester hats in the French Market

Visited St Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square

Playing in a small pumpkin patch

We went to Mr. B's for lunch

Our hotel had some really pretty fountains and arrangements

Adam discovered some fish!

In the afternoon we went to Uncle Lawrence, Aunt Cheryl and Grandma's house to visit.

The boys loved feeding the fish in their pond!

They loved running around in the big yard

They received some awesome new toys!

Aunt Amy & Cousin Lissy get in on the fun

Lots of Silliness

More silliness back at the hotel

They love Aunt Amy!

We visited the family crypt where three of Andrew's namesakes are buried.

We also went to the National World War II Museum

Then back to Grandma's for a big fish fry

The men doing their thing
