Little Explorers

Now that the kids are getting bigger we were able to do some hiking this summer. It was a lot of fun, educational, great exercise, and on top of all that it's free!

This hike was at Sylvan Lake State Park near Eagle. We went around the trail surrounding the beautiful lake. The boys got to explore and climb and just be kids. I was especially proud of Andrew for completing it because it was a lot of hard work for him but he did it!

God sure has given us a beautiful world to enjoy!

Even the babies enjoyed their first hike :-)

After our hike we ate lunch in Eagle and Ally sat in a big girl high chair (the very stuffed seat cover helped her sit up :) She's getting so grown up!

Oh how beautiful!
Praying!
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

By the way, I did get your message on FB, it's just been beyond crazy around here. Really appreciated the update!
Praying right now!
Psalms 31:1-3 In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me. For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.
