Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die."
We had such a great Easter weekend! Aunt Amy came down and spent the weekend with us, the weather was beautiful, Kenny cooked some great food on Saturday, on Sunday we worshiped our risen Savior and then we enjoyed some egg hunting fun with the cousins.

At Adam's 7 year well checkup he failed the eye screening so we were referred on to see an ophthalmologist. At that appt we learned that Adam is farsighted, especially in his left eye. A lot of times they don't correct for farsightedness in kids but Adam's was pretty bad and they felt it probably made every distance blurry for him. So we ordered him glasses!
A few weeks later Adam's new glasses came in. It took some getting used to, apparently farsighted people don't usually have the immediate "wow" when they put on their glasses for the first time. Their eyes and brain have been accommodating so much it can make things blurry with the glasses on at first.
I love how handsome he looks in them!!
The first day back after spring break was Adam's first time wearing his glasses to school. He was feeling a little nervous about it but his awesome teacher Mrs. R was so thoughtful and wore her glasses that day too :-)
Crazy Brothers!! Adam is a bit of a jokester, I'm not really sure what to make of him sometimes LOL ;)
He is also doing some daily patching to help strengthen his weak eye
I love love love my precious Adam. He is growing up so much and I just love this new addition to his look. They seem to fit his personality already. Now that he's had his glasses for several weeks now, he can really tell a difference! He puts them on first thing in the morning and wears them all day until it's time for bed. He's doing a great job taking care of them and I'm so happy that he can see better now too!

Recently I went to Vegas with my mom, sister and Aunt Julie. I'm so glad we made all these memories and hope that I'll get to do things like this with Ally when she grows up. I'm so thankful for the women in my family and that we enjoy spending time together :-)
"Bam!" Kenny has a man crush on Emeril so I had to send this to him. He was pretty jealous of me ;-)
I'm posting these next few pictures because I had an extraordinarily lucky time this trip and I want to remember all the fun because I'll probably never have this good of luck again as long as I live. Haha!!
I'm very thankful for these ladies and the opportunity to travel with them. And I'm very very grateful for my awesome husband who let me go and my mother-in-law for helping out with the kids!
Andrew & Adam are having a blast playing machine pitch for the first time. Their team is the Timber Rattlers, what an adorable group of little boys. We have so many friends on our team which makes it even more fun!

I love how the bat is flying through the air as Adam runs to first base
